My UiTM Life

I wake up early as 6.30 a.m., My class start at 8 a.m., except on Monday, which my class start at 10 a.m.. Previous week, I have to spend money on my breakfast at our cafetaria. Now, I save my budget by drinking Milo and eat CocoPie. Every morning I took hot water from my friends from next door to make Milo drink.

Mostly I followed my friends to our class/kuliah. Our block mainly at Block M, Block J and Block K. Block M is the most far block for my course. Another name for that block is Blok Akademik.

Here's our campus map :

But it's worth because after we walked we enter our air-conditioned classroom.

The food at cafetaria not bad at all. What about wifi? Hostel area don't have wifi, only at main block and some other block except hostel. We have washing machine at certain block of our hostel, but we have to insert RM2 coins to use it.

Behind of our hostel has a short cut to Desa Ilmu town of Samarahan, but only can be reach by foot. Most students buy food and other necessary things there.

Now I don't know what to write more :P

Goodbye Form 6....Hello UiTM

I woke up at 7 something in the morning. I packed all my things that needed for me to UiTM. Thank God I got accepted into UiTM, so that I can quit my Form 6 class. Although Form 6 syllabus is using new system, modular system (equivalent with Pre-U, foundation/asasi or A-Level), still consider tough to me. Actually all of my friends in Form Lower 6 and me are the first batch to use modular system for Form 6. When I was in Form 6, I entered Physical Class and the subject consist Pengajian Am, Mathematics (T), Physics, Chemistry and lastly MUET (Malaysian University English Test). I only did not enjoy Chemistry subject, subject that it is too complicated for me. I need to practice remembering those Chemistry's formulae and equation.

My aim was to become aircraft maintenance engineer. But when I got sms from UPU, they asked me to check my application at online.uitm.edu.my. As I check mine, I got offer of Diploma in Building from UiTM. At first I feel want to reject it, but both my uncle (as well as his wife) and mother convinced me to enter that course as that course is much more job demand compared to engineering fields. And my uncle said my Sciences and Math's foundation are not really good at all and one mistake when doing aircraft engineer can caused a risk of hundred or thousand lives in the aircraft. SI accept the course with open heart and both my uncle and my mother happy with my decision.

I managed to say goodbye to all my Lower Six Alpha class that morning after I asked my Penolong Kanan Tingkatan 6 to sign and stamped all my photocopies document for my registration at UiTM Kota Samarahan, Sarawak.

The registration was rather exhausting. You need to go to some block or building to send medical check-up form and register my hostel (Seri Mulu) or kolej kediaman. UiTM Kota Samarahan was nice and look like a fresh new building. And I love their colour scheme. Luckily I choosen to study at UiTM Kota Samarahan, if not (I apply for Mechanical Engineering in UiTM Penang) I have to book last minute flight with expensive fare to Penang. Although we ran through exhausting day, but it worth that I'm now officially UiTM Kota Samarahan student :)

UiTM is one of the most top 5 of IPTA in Malaysia for Bumiputra. Although we only pay for a much lower amount for the courses compared to other college, better still it offer high class quality of education:)

The food? Still OK and affordable. The library? Nice and complete, Internet access, TV and Astro were provided (some of the student watch EURO). Wifi? You need to register as student or staff first, hehe :P

Now I'm studying the first lecture (IT and Communication Skills, Diploma in Building) in my life and done my blogging project. This is my project :D
