Raya Holiday...Mid-semester Break...

Most of my class start holiday by last Monday (13 August 2012), as most of my lecturer from West Malaysia are flew back to their hometown. Except for two, IDA class (for non-Muslim Students) and BEL (Basic English Language) Speaking Test.

Left a few days for all of my friends to go back to their own hometown... Also left a few days to fasting/puasa and berbuka puasa/sungkey (breaking fast) with my Muslim friends =(

Thursday, 16 August 2012, most of my West Malaysian and Sabahan (as well as Labuan) flew back to their hometown. So I met them at Kuching Airport.... Two of my friends said they slept at the airport since the night before..so cold sleep at the airport.

As I wait for their depature time, its like I'm waiting for my flight... and I also follow some of my friends check-in. To my surprise one of my friends paid RM 200 for her excess luggage charge. Damn expensive man! RM25 per kg. Better book excess luggage package (Air Asia) to prevent pay too much for it....

Almost 1 p.m., 3 of my friends enter to departure hall.... and I went home..

BEL120 (English) Speaking Test

Last Tuesday, my class hahad our speaking test before Raya holiday. Not sure if it is a real test or just a practice. It was held at our UiTM Library's Discussion Room. At first I thought the Speaking test is held at Block M. Fortunately I came early and I asked all of my group member to come early because most of the group finished their speaking test early. Different group different topic given.

Well, my group's speaking test was going a little bit smooth... Most of us shaking...feeling nervous.  But it is done....without any a few minutes silent, but only few seconds..

Instant Noodle No More :D

Most of asian society love to eat instant noodle...
And most of Malaysian love to eat varieties of instant noodle, consisted Manggi and Mie Sedaap as popular choices for Malaysian. Although rice is a staple food for Asian, but instant noodle may be a second staple food for asian.

But for me, I don't like to eat instant noodle anymore (except during emergency) since a few weeks me at UiTM. I rather eat rice, mee kolok or fried noodle (i mean not from instant noodle like Mie Sedap). After I ate instant noodle, make me feel want to vomit.. Thus, it can make us slower to catch up during lesson in class and made my head feel uncomfortable and itchy.

During PPKP LDK (Program Pembangunan dan Kepimpinan Pelajar, Latihan Dalam Kumpulan) (part of UiTM programme for all students every semester) programme, we debated about Spaghetti and Mi Segera/Instant Noodle, and the Spaghetti side won the debate, although the Mi Segera side said Spaghetti is more expensive and took more time to cook :P

Anyway, I just respect to who loves to eat instant noodle. Everyone has their own opinion right? Yeap :)

Last Time Pilot & Aircraft Engineer..Now Building....

When I was in primary school, I wanted to become a pilot. What makes me interest in aviation thing?
Well, here is my story; When I was a baby, my family and me stayed at SMK Limbang teachers' quarters.
That school situated near to Limbang's old airfield/small airport. And the airfield was small then, and using Pandaruan road as runway for little Twin Otter aircraft (not sure if it is real or not). Situated beside Bukit Mas. The old Limbang airport became my favourite place last time, and my father always bring me there.

The new Limbang airport was build a few years later after my family and me left Limbang to move to Sri Aman. Now Limbang airport not only can accommodate Twin Otter aircraft, but also ATR-72 of MasWings...

the new Limbang Airport

Well, that was the time I started to have passion in aviation.. During festive season (Gawai and Christmas) last time, my family and me flew from Limbang, transit and Miri..and proceed to Kuching by air/bus.

During my secondary school time, I changed mu ambition to aircraft maintenance engineer because I am not tall enough.

But when I received sms from UiTM UPU, the next day I checked my application results at UiTM's website, I got accepted into the course that I don't even know it's existent. That is Diploma in Building, at UiTM Samarahan Campus. At first I wanted to reject it. But after my uncle and my mother convined me,then after many hours later I accepted the offer from UiTM.

After a few days later I finally can adapted and like my Building course. Besides, it is not really a heavy subject compared to the other that related.

I hope I can continue my degree (and master hopefully) at UiTM Shah Alam on related course after my diploma.
